3 Days Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

This Wildlife Safari commences with our departure from Kampala heading westward through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This will include a lunch stop in Mbarara and then, we continue through the savannah grasslands with many banana plantations and local long horned Ankole cows indigenous to this part of the country.

Day 2: Game drives and boat safari

We will wake up very early and set off at 6:30am for a morning game drive with the goal of catching sight of the early risers in their natural habitat. We expect to see the Big 4; elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, waterbucks and many birds. After lunch we will head to the jetty for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. We expect to see a number of animals along the bank and a variety of water birds.
